If I see one more site that has used only Kate’s tutorial to make their layout, I’m going to explode! I mean, yeah Kate is an amazing graphic maker, but C’MON GUYS! HAVE SOME CREATIVITY! IT’S REALLY NOT THAT HARD! [/end rant]
Anyways, school has been keeping me really busy. Busy enough to only let me on the computer for like an hour a day.
I started Driver’s Ed monday and it ends at 5 - 5:30 everyday. The class itself isn’t bad, the teacher’s voice can irk me at times, it’s the people that sit around me that piss me off. I asked my teacher if I could move, but she said no. 
The class ends on my birthday (FEBRUARY 12TH), so that’s really good. ALSO BIG BROTHER 9 STARTS ON MY BIRTHDAY TOO! I’m so excited. I’m gonna be 15!~~ 
I really wish I could’ve taken driver’s ed in the summer though. Cause that way I’d have my permit on my birthday. Oh well. I can wait a month or two. 
LOL THE SUPERBOWL IS TODAY! THAT MEANS TONS AND TONS AND TONS OF FOOD! W00T!!! I really don’t care who wins, but I’d rather have the Giants win. Just to piss off the Patriots. Hahah. 
Site wise I haven’t gotten anything done. 
I hope that during the week I’ll make SOMETHING. Maybe I’ll get bored in driver’s ed and start doodling in my notebook and make some brushes or something. We’ll see. Haha.

February 6th, 2008 @ 9:39 pmyeah…driving isnt entirely always really fun. there are lots of dumb people on the roads and you usually have to go faster than the speed limit to keep up.
its really just convenient thats all. im 17 so im getting a car like this month hopefully.

You need Driver’s Ed for a permit? I’m getting mine next Friday, you just have to be 15..
I wanted the Patriots to win, they lost. Ugh. But yea, as said before, your site is awesome!

kate is an amazing graphics maker, no lie, but her tutorial seems to be “overused”
and the superbowl was great! it’s always an excuse to do something we dont get to do often, like meet with friends, or in your case, pig out =)

February 10th, 2008 @ 7:37 pmI have nothing against you, but I think that people are using her layout tutorials, especially noobs to all of this like me, because she is really the only one that supplies them. Yeah, if we open a graphic site we should know how to make a layout, but some people open a graphic site to learn more about it, then show off their latest accomplishment. And if there was more variety to layout tutorials from other sites, then I don’t think you would be seeing that problem.

Ah, you’re so lucky! Here in the Bahamas you have to be 17 to get your permit and 18 to get your license. I still have about a year left (I’m turning 16 in May). Good luck with Driver’s Ed though.
Superbowl is over and I’m mad. Patriots should of won that; sorry, but I’m not a big fan of the Giants.

February 12th, 2008 @ 8:24 pmI’m guilty of using her tutorial. I took a 3-4 month break from my computer and I forgot a lot about Photoshop. I just had to make a quick layout and I had no brushes or anything for they all got deleted somehow. So yeah, I just did her tutorial for my layout in like 15 minutes. 
Once I get my computer *fully* working again, I will be making my own layout. I uninstalled Photoshop and now I can’t install it again. It says it fails. I was searching on Google and it’s some security thing. It logged that I installed it once and there’s this long process I haev to do in order to fix it. 
Leave it up to Adobe to do something like this. Okay well just wanted to let you know.

February 13th, 2008 @ 7:28 pmI never took Driver’s ED in HS. I wish I did, though. Happy belated birthday btw, hope you had a good one. And I’ve seen a lot of sites use Kate’s tutorial. It’s really nice that ppl are learning layout techniques but it can be irritating visiting sites and seeing the exact same thing….

February 14th, 2008 @ 4:42 pmi have a suggestion. well basically ive been trying to figure out wordpress for a few weeks now. and absolutely no sites have any complete tutorials on how to work it. if you want to get your site real good how about making tons and tons of wordpress tutorials for begginers and experts, youde really boost your visitors and it would help me alot. hehe. please consider it.

I mean, she is an awesome designer, and the tutorial can be used as a start…I’ve seen at least a dozen or so. I mean, to make a little more distinguishable and to make it your own, why not add a few more things, such as brushes or a few effects; being different is so much better!

Your G1 is when you don’t really have your license but you’re allowed to drive, but only with a person who’s had 4 years of driving, a driving instructor and you can’t drive when between midnight and 5am. Then in either 8 months to a year you can go for your G2, take a road test for it, and then you can drive by yourself and from 12 am to 5 am again. After that you can go for your G which is your full license haha. It sucks, cause you get your full license in the states don’t you?
